Opening an investment account with XTB is quick and easy. You can start investing in the financial markets within just a few minutes. To open an account, follow the steps below:
Opening an account via the mobile app:
Download the XTB mobile app.
After opening the app, select the “Open account” button and fill in our simple form.
Once you complete the form, you will be redirected to a video verification process. Then you will be asked to take a photo of your identity document (ID card, passport, driving license or residence permit) directly within the app - it is not possible to upload a previously taken photo or scan.
Opening an account via the website:
Go to the homepage, click the “Create account” button in the top right corner, and fill in our simple online form.
After completing the form, you will be redirected to video verification. Then you will be asked to take a photo of your identity document (ID card, passport, driving license or residence permit) directly within the app - it is not possible to upload a previously taken photo or scan.
Once you have submitted your documents and been successfully verified, you will be able to log in and deposit funds via a secure online transfer.
Document verification usually takes a few minutes. In times of increased activity, this time may be extended to several hours.
If all documents are correctly verified, the contract will be activated, about which you will be informed by e-mail.
